In 1995 and as owners of an apartment in a multi unit development development, we were dissatisfied with the services and performance of the managing agents at the time. Due to our strong technical, project management and administration backgrounds coupled with a no nonsense approach on daily issues, we were elected to the board of the OMC and worked tirelessly to bring the development back on track. Following two years of successful management the board recognised our talents and energy and requested that we be part of the tendering process for a change of agent. Our tender was successful resulting in Petra Management Ltd., being incorporated. Since 1997, our business has grown exclusively through referrals.
Project management is our forte, developing specifications, obtaining quotations, overseeing and monitoring progress with great attention to detail and excellent clear reporting both technically and financially. We have an eye for detail with a pragmatic approach. We regularly attend technology and property management training courses and keep abreast of the latest cost-saving technologies.
As members of the RICS and SCSI, We keep up-to-date by attending many courses, seminars and workshops in the areas of: Health and Safety; Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting; the use of websites, Facebook & Twitter for communicating with clients; MUD Act 2011; CCTV and IP internet access cameras; Lease Agreements; Safe-Pass to comply with building site access regulations; Lease Agreements, Human Resources, and Communications.
